TIP - The last few blocks so just take it easy and enjoy.

My tip - use a couple of pins when sewing the larger strips together.

It's the last week of block making, can you believe it?! Just four arrow blocks and one centre square and then you've all the blocks you need.

Arrow Blocks
I love these blocks, there's something about an arrow block that really shows off the graphical design of the quilt. They are simple blocks to sew and you'll top if off with a pre-made Flying geese. here are a couple of tips:

  • When sewing the longer strips, use a couple of pins to prevent stretching.
  • Pay attention to the order of the colours as there are the same sized pieces in both colours.

Centre square The very last block and it's a super simple one. The centre square caps off the bottom of the arrow blocks. This block has the smallest pieces so be careful with your 1/4in seam and pay close attention to the pattern as the colour strips are sewn differently.

WOW that's it for blocks, just got the quilt top sewing next week!
